The meaning of the Bluebonnet is bravery and admiration. A bluebonnet is a strong flower and symbolizes sacrifice. I have had a whirlwind of a few weeks and I thought what better flower to paint than the Texas state flower that has such an amazing meaning. It is not only beautiful, but has such amazing meaning behind it. While painting it, I thought I want to be strong and brave like the bluebonnet. Even after the stormy oh so crazy weather we have in Texas the bluebonnet stands tall with her beauty. I want to be like that I thought. Life can be stormy but we can persevere just like the bluebonnet. Like Texas, you never know what the next moment could bring, it could be sunshine and a nice breeze blowing through.
