In 2021 I went in for testing to see if I had a CSF leak in my spine a debilitating secondary affect caused by two diagnosed conditions known as IIH and EDS. Needless to say there were a few incidental findings in my spine. One of them was a congenital defect called Spinal Dyspraphism. My treating physician to this day has not responded to discuss this with me. Talk about being left in the dark. I have many amazing doctors thankfully that guide and care for me but news like this was pretty devastating. I have researched it and found out that there is a 50% possibility it can be passed down to your children. Life is a crazy thing on the outside you can look so beautiful and things can look so perfect while on the inside things can be in utter disarray. My disabilities have taught me grace and to never judge a book by its cover. Each person has a story and we never know their struggles. This work of art started as a beautiful feather and my heart guided me elsewhere. Sometimes we need to tell our stories in hopes they may help someone else. Sending light and love. Xoxo- Deanna
