I painted this in honor of Ehlers- Danlos Awareness Month 2023 and all of the other Invisible disabilities that I have. I was thinking of all of my disabilities and the layers that make up my body , the world my family and I have built to protect me and this painting was born. “To create one’s own world takes courage.” By Georgia O’Keeffe.
