The “Zebra Brushstrokes” design on this piece is based of an original artwork I painted with one of my medical conditions in mind; Ehlers-Danlos. This condition has been one of the hardest to diagnose and I am still in the process of having the sub-type diagnosed. My physicians believe I have VEDS, and I have been on a waiting list with a medical facility for 2 years now to be diagnosed fully. In the meantime, they treat me accordingly. I believe that what does not end us makes us stronger. So I wake each day and try to push forward with the unknown which is my body and I paint. I found a beautiful quote by
