The Red Tulips In A Vase - Fine Art by Deanna Caroon
I painted the original “Red Tulips in a Vase” in June of 2022. My daughter was preparing to go off to college in Texas, and I was feeling a bit blue. I absolutely love painting Tulips, especially red tulips, and my emotions definitely came out in this painting. I am a firm believer that not all artwork has to be happy, it is ok to show despair or sadness. I believe the longest I have been away from my daughter before this was a month. I know, I know, it will be fine, and it was, she is doing amazing at college! At the moment though, to tell a mother that her firstborn daughter will be thousands of miles away, and will be ok, is very difficult though. I enjoyed painting this beauty, and love the end result. I have this beauty displayed in my home to remind me of that moment in our lives. I am so happy to be able to share this with all of you! Enjoy! Xoxo- Deanna
